Ecstatic Dance-
Allow Emily to guide you through movement and dance along with a potent & perfectly curated playlist after drinking the cacao medicine. This practice will be yours to experience how you choose. Maybe you choose dance super hard and go all out, or perhaps you decide to stand in the back of the room and sway from side to side, taking in all the energy of the beautiful people in the room or you can even lay on the ground on your back or in child's pose. There are no rules and there will be no judgment. ALL OF YOU IS WELCOME HERE.
Powerful Exercises-
These will be sprinkled in throughout the weekend! Remember.. GROWTH is on the other side of our comfort zone and that this is a safe space to try new things and stretch ourselves.
About Emily:
Emily's greatest gift and biggest passion is to bring people together. So, as the founder and creator of this event, she is riding high with joy and excitement as she and her offerings continue to evolve. Emily started her super rocky recovery journey 20 years ago and now has over 5 1/2 years of continuous sobriety. She's shifted her idea of "Recovery" to "Connection and Personal Development," and is now empowering others to find their OWN path to recovery. She believes that connection, self-care, some sort of spirituality and tapping into purpose & passion are essential to find happiness and freedom in sobriety! She also is a huge advocate of having fun and finding adventure while maintaining a drug & alcohol-free lifestyle.
Emily is a Recovery Coach, Sober Companion, Yoga Teacher, Goddess Yoga Instructor, Retreat Facilitator, Reiki Practicioner and so much more! She's coached over 100 women and led over 15 wellness retreats in various states around the country. Her online program Recovery Revival (no longer active) has brought so many women together from all over the world, many whom will meet IRL at the summit!
Emily offers 1:1 coaching to help individuals find freedom, joy and abundance in recovery. She's super proud of her virtual product, that's helping so many! The Recovery Rolodex is 21 bite-sized videos (only 3-7 minutes long) to support individuals on their recovery journey.
Emily loves connecting with good people, hanging with her dogs, hiking, travel, live music, yoga, and eating healthy meals out. She splits her time in Madison, WI (where she's from) and Sedona, Arizona where she bought a cute little home for her and her 3 big dogs. She also lived in San Diego, CA and "In the middle of nowhere," Northern Arizona where her and her now ex-husband built a beautiful off-grid wedding venue and retreat center. Healing through the divorce, the loss of the property and the separation of her step-daughter Arya was one of the hardest things she's overcome in addition to losing her brother to a tragic car accident when she was only 21 and most recently working through the grief of losing her father in early 2024.
Emily's story is one of resilience and resourcefulness. She believes that our lessons can become our biggest blessings and from our wounds turn into wisdom. She's often described as a bright light, a woman with positive vibes and an alchemist. She trusts that everything in the past brings us to the present and she is enjoying this crazy ride called life!

Jourdi Bleu
Motivational Speaker
Session:
Meet Me Upstairs-
"Upstairs" is a place that Jourdi has discovered on her journey of coming home to herself. It refers to the divine consciousness that weaves us all together. From the minute we are born, the "forgetting" happens. We start identifying with our thoughts and bodies and the illusion of separation commences. We temporarily forget who we truly are. Until we have an "aha" moment and the light from upstairs shines through. The more we climb the staircase and visit our "upstairs selves", the easier that space becomes to access. Jourdi has found her freedom upstairs and now believes that it is her soul's duty to help her fellow beings find the staircase. This talk will be about Jourdi's journey upstairs, and how you can access that space and live from it as well.
About Jourdi:
This woman is a warrior goddess who has risen from the depths of addiction, now shining her light bright to allow others to do the same. Many describe her as a ray of sunshine, and she is known for spreading her playful, contagious, positive energy into every room she enters. Her greatest passion in life is helping people remember who they truly are. Now a Yoga Teacher, Empowerment Coach, Speaker and Author, Jourdi Bleu has tapped into living from a place she called “Upstairs”, which has led her a life beyond her wildest dreams.

Sam Skaggs
Workshop: Option #2
Session:
Creative Meditation:
Meditation, as you are probably aware, can have many benefits such as stress and anxiety reduction, improved sleep, focus and emotional stability, as well as increased creativity, to name just a few. While "meditation" has numerous definitions and methods of practice, many of us consider it (in a nutshell) simply sitting quietly while turning off all thoughts. Well, if you're like me, that is a very difficult task.
In this session, we hope to offer you an alternative to "traditional" meditation. Through focusing our attention on a simple, creative project, we hope to show that many of the same benefits can be attained through quiet, focused activities. In this case, we will assemble a small, wooden "Love" shelf, and paint, stain, or otherwise decorate it as you desire. Bring along a favorite photo to include! Don't worry, you don't need to be a carpenter or have any serious "woodworking" skills. That is not our focus. We simply want to quietly focus our thoughts upon a creative, hopefully relaxing and enjoyable task. Yes, you get to keep the shelf you create!
About Sam:
Sam Skaggs is from Brookings, OR, is a retired Air Force Pilot, and he has been sober for over 2 years. He and his wife Kari both “retired” in 2017, sold nearly everything and lived a nomadic life of RV adventure and travel for most of the next four years. They semi-settled in Sedona in 2020, but still travel seasonally, with Sedona as a “home base”. They mix in a little work here and there—Sam crews hot air balloons with hopes to one day pilot them. He helps Kari run their small business “Bliss Wellness Essentials”, where she offers massage, energy work, aromatherapy and sound healing, and together they offer destination wellness retreats in both Mexico and Sedona. They are blended with four adult children and six grandchildren, ages 2 to 14.

Jen Cole
Workshop: Option #3
Session:
How To Live-
An experiential workshop for those who know there must be more to life than the way they are experiencing it.
It is no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a sick society. (Jiddu Krishnamurti). Amidst stresses that keep us living in constant fight/flight/fawn modes, we see record levels of depression and anxiety. Humans are physically and mentally exhausted as we navigate the war on our mental health. But what if changing the way we live could be seen as an antidepressant (Johann Hari).
In this workshop, we show how long forgotten practices merge with the brain’s complex but magnificent wiring to physically change how we think and live and, in doing so, live in the joyous way we are meant to.
Each participant will go home with a little ritual gift bag to help get you started on your ritualistic journey!
About Jen:
As an MBA, CFO, serial entrepreneur, Jen Cole had society’s defined success. Money, prestige, and power. She also had the 80 hour work weeks, never taken vacations, broken marriages, poor health, and so on. Her unsustainable way of living led her to a mental health crisis and a battle to save her life.
Pain is a powerful catalyst - if you can survive it - too many people aren’t.
Jen set out to figure out how she was one of the fortunate ones who was able to survive. She traveled the world for years diving into research and teachings across many disciplines. She learned of the underlying factors of systemic issues. The teachings Jen absorbed led her to the brain and long lost ways of living. She redesigned her life and once again thrived. Now her mission is to bring this knowledge to the masses and take on the war on mental health that the world is facing.
